  • Managing a multi-dog household

  • Progression of exercises and working around distractions

How Private One to One Sessions Work:

I come to you - you don't need to travel! During the first session, I will sit down with you and take a full detailed history along with details of your specific requirements. I will observe your dog(s).  This will take approx. 90mins.  A training plan will be devised  based on your needs and your existing environment.  I will go through this with you and we will work together to implement this.   Follow up sessions will see what progress has been made; add to the training plan and guide you through new elements.  Along with the home sessions follow-up emails with the details of the training will be sent to you after each training session. I will also check in via text with you a week after each session to see how you are getting on and whether any tweaks to the training are needed.

2. Bringing a new puppy home:Puppy Package-the basics (x4 sessions)

Have you decided to get a new puppy? Would you like some assistance and guidance to really get off on the best paw? Having a good foundation from the start can help settle the dog in so much better and avoid some possible problems later on.  I can provide you with four 1 hour sessions covering the basics such as dealing with mouthing; jumping up; recall; helping the puppy to cope with being left along at times; etc. (This can be tailored to you specific circumstances and needs).  Getting the pup used to be handled also forms part of this package so as vet and grooming visits are not a stressful event.  This is done over x4 one-hour long sessions and follow up notes are provided to assist you in continuing the good foundations you have established.

3. Thinking about getting a dog/puppy: Deep diving into the commitment

- Are you thinking of getting a dog? Confused about what breed will suit you and your family and home; and whether to rescue or not?

- What are the financial commitments over the lifetime of the dog?

- Are you prepared for unknown training or behaviour issues?

- What should you be looking for when you go to see and meet a puppy or dog?

Book a one to one consultation and I can take you through everything with you so you are fully informed and prepared. This includes going through some of the issues you may be faced with i.e. behaviour or illnesses and what you will need to deal successfully with these. The consultations can be held via zoom or Teams; or, if you wish to have me call to your home, that can also be arranged. I will assess and advise you of suitable sleeping arrangements and recommend various management protocols that will get your new dog starting off putting its best paw forward.

4. Finally:
